Happy Friday everyone! Weekend is here and I am up with a card which I made yesterday evening. Yesterday was a crafty day with plenty of sunshine in the craftroom. We are back to overcast skies starting today and no sun in forecast for 2 days at least.
Anyways, I thought of playing along winnie&walter birthday celebration challenges, and I am leaving for holiday next week and will be back a few days before the challenges end, so trying to get in a few cards done here.
Today's card is a CASE or comeback challenge by Taheerah. The main idea is drawn from there and I had just worked it around to combine few other challenges.
The card I chose is Shay's, you cans see the post dated : Thursday, July 24, 2014 here,
I was looking on Pinterest to find some inspiration from the talent at winnie&walter, Seriously it wasn't easy , there are so many beautiful cards, but I keep coming back to this card.
I used the colors and the Chevrons and the layout as my inspiration here, but gave my spin to it.
I chose a grid PP from Doodlebug, its pale blue. I decided to get only 2 chevrons here as I planned to add the huge diamond to the front, and lined it up att he first chevron.
I used DI hickory smoke to sponge the chevron, after some masking.
I used a white and a yellow glitter card to die cut the diamond.
Used the happy die cut in black and the birthday is stamped on the grid PP strip, I added 4 each of the sequins and black jewels.
Linking this with:
4 sequins and 4 jewels used
