Hi crafty peeps, hope everyone is doing great!
It is a special day at my household today, it is my son's 16th birthday. I still remember him as a baby but my little boy is not so little anymore, he is way taller than me(actually both my kids are), and a very thoughtful young handsome man now. WOW, time indeed is flying!!!!
I always give my kids cards on their birthdays, that's how my card making started actually.
So I try every card to be different from their previous ones, and also different from what I make for each of them.
This year, I am going with A textured blue base, and a black textured front.
I used ARTplorations Shutter stencil to sponge the pigment inks on the black base. The numbers are from HLS - bold numbers, I stamped on a red paper and heat embossed in gold,
and the die cut is from Spellbinders.
I wrote "today" using versafine embossing pen and heat embossed in gold. The front is lined with a blue glitter strip.
I think he will like it.
