Hey everyone, just finished making a card, and thought of sharing it right away, when I still have plenty of time on hand.
I am using a free digi from Paper Smooches here. I chose a white base and front. I printed the sentiment , also a digi, and then cut a circle to an edge, and sponged the edges using a black pigment ink. I chose a weaved patter paper for the background. The owl is colored using just 2 colors, I used a red color pencil to color the eyelids, and grey to color the nose and slightly around the owl, then I added wink of stella to the owl. The branch is sponged using a brown ink, and I did some stamping on it, added few rhine stones to finish off.
That is all, I hope you all like !!
A closer look at the owl with wink of stella.

Paper Smooches SPARKS
TIME OUT Challenges
I was inspired by the colors here, so instead of the top panel, I am going in with a circle to the edge.
Less is More
I hope owls qualify here, and it is a pretty clean card.
2 or 4 Legs.
AAA Cards
The theme is perfect for a masculine card.

Rahmat so pleased you joined us at TO and with such a fun card. I love you used an owl and the back inking around the edge is a great touch x
ReplyDeleteGreat card, Rahmat. I love the minimal colours you've used, and the expression on the owl's face is so great.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing with us.

I love this little sad owl Rahmat and you've worked him brilliantly with the circular panel and gorgeous inking to the border. Thanks so much for playing along at AAA cards and Less is More.

This is so fantastic and love the black shading around the edge of your card. And what a sweet little owl, Paper Smooches have such cute little critters. Brilliant CASE of Deepti's card and I'm so happy to see you at Time Out!!
