Hey all, I am up with a twofer using hearts today.
I have used the winnie&walter products for these cards,
Adding these to the Twofer Card Challenge
I used winnie&walter " In Bloom :Addie's garden" stamps and stamped the flowers and leaves in random on a water color paper. I then used the Gansai Tambi starry pearl water colors and watercolored the leaves using 2 different shades of gold.
I then used the markers to color the flowers.
I decided to add some small words from the Big and the Bold set, to fill in the whites, and I personally think it adds interest to the design,
Once satisfied with the front, I used the multifaceted heart cutaway and diecut the heart.
I stamped the sentiment love on the base card, and added the diecut frame over it. I stamped the "you" on a tiny pink strip and added using a foam adhesive.

The second card is made using the scraps from the first card. I had a strip of card left, so I simply cut it in half to get 2 strips for this card.
I used a black multifaceted heart frame to inlay all the left over pieces from the previous card.
I decided to make this a mother's day card.

Thank you for stopping by, I really appreciate your kind feedback :) Have a great day!
Two very different but so very lovely card designs. Gorgeous colors.
ReplyDeleteWow, look at these creative designs! The background looks fabulous with the little words sprinkled around! What a great idea to cut out a window from it and stamp the sentiment on the inside of the card! I really love that you used all the pieces you cut out on your second card and even the strip that you had left over!
ReplyDeleteThanks for joining us at the Twofer!
Ah, now that's the way to use your schtuff! Well done, Rahmat! Your handmade DSP on your first card is stunning! I had to look to see that heart grid die cut and the tiny "you" and I love that! Your second card is a masterful use of the remnants from your first card and it has SO much wonderful personality with the DSP inside the grid and the strips of "ribbon" DSP surrounding your Mother's Day sediment! Mwah! Thank you so much for playing in Twofer Card Challenge #2!! Hugs, Darnell
ReplyDeleteThis is fantastic! I absolutely loved that card on the left, an I didn't even understand how you'd accomplished it, until I read the rest of your post! Its such an amazing card, different from your usual, I absolutely love it! Of course, the second one doesn't pale in any way, but the first one is my absolute favorite!
ReplyDeletehugs, Ashwini
Same like Ashwini I was intrigued by the design on first card ! The faceted heart die-cut looks awesome and great use of scraps !
ReplyDeleteWonderful use of the scraps from your first card! Just love the second card you came up with. So glad the scraps didn't get set aside or recycled. Thanks so much for joining in my Use Your Scraps challenge for Winnie & Walter!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful cards Rahmat. And a great way to use up the leftover pieces from your first card to create your second. Very beautiful mix of colours, images and words. Thanks for joining us at Twofer Card Challenge. xx
ReplyDeleteGorgeous cards and very clever:)!!!
ReplyDeleteOh, these are awesome!!
ReplyDeleteI finally managed to play along at the Twofer card challenge and I saw your card in the gallery. You perfectly showcase how to use a same die for two totally different cards ! I love both designs and your choice of colours ! Hope you are enjoying your holidays ! Hugs xx
ReplyDeleteWoah! 2 amazingly beautiful cards and I love how you used the scraps from the first to make the 2nd, it really goes deeper into the concept of the challenge! Hugs Gwendolyn
