Hello all, hope everyone is doing great. I am up with a card inspired by the season. It is hot here, and we are getting lots of thunder and rainstorms too. I have been spending a lot of time with my phone, sitting by the window to capture the lightnings, I did had great success yesterday.
I will share some pictures at the end of my post..
For now, to my card.
I started with a memory box stencil shine , used Hero Arts - Neon Sunshine ink to sponge the sunshine. Then I used two markers in blue and orange and simply drew some lines to create a striped towel, I fussy cut it to add to the card.
The flip flops are from Paper Smooches - summer lovin set, I stamped on a left over piece of a water color panel, and fussy cut.
I stamped the sentiment on the towel, it is also from PS.
A few birds from the same stamp set to finish off. I like this card very much.
Hope you all do as much as I like it.

Another entry for the summer.
Usually I am in India during this time every year, but this year because of kiddos summer school, I am still in Macau. I am bit homesick, but the storms are surely cheering me up.
This was yesterday evening, 10 minutes after the kiddos walked in home from the school. Thunder and rainstorm.

This was also yesterday, you can see how the view has changed, I love my view, it is fun to see rain coming towards you from far.
Rain approaching us.
This is an oldie, it was taken in May 2013, I love capturing the storms. This is one of my best pictures of the lightnings.
Thank you for stopping by, I really appreciate your kind feedback :) Have a great day!

Wow those photos are incredible, you must take a lot to capture that precise moment. I love thunder and lightening too but we just don't get it here. Your card captures the challenge perfectly and love the sentiment. Its so cold here at the moment I wish I could live like it was Summer but would probably end up with frostbite!!
