Good day everyone!
I managed another card yesterday, this was more like an experiment, and it looks decent enough that I decided to post it.
I wanted to make a shaker using Paper Smooches mason jar die. I decided to use a silver card stock for the die cut, and I used the negative here, I trimmed along the jar outline with my scissors, and then added acetate to it to create he shaker part, I used some mixed sequins here for the shaker part, all in red. The jar was then added on the top of the card base.
For the flowers, I started with spraying some distress ink spray on a water color paper and once it was dry, I stamped the flowers from Uniko Studio - cosmos, and simply fussy cut it.
I then added the flowers as if they are falling off the jar, so in a random fashion.
The sentiment is heat embossed in gold and is also from Uniko, I fussy cut it along the word, the other part is inked using a black ink. A few jewels to finish off the card.
I have too many pictures for this card, as I have both gold and silver, and you know it is always tricky to click pictures with these 2 colors.
A peek
The ink spray, I used fired brick spray here on a scrap of watercolor paper.
