Good morning all, a quick share of 2 cas cards, which I made yesterday night. Actually I am bit nervous nowadays, with the school trip for my kiddos approaching. I am bit worried about my son's ski trip, if he would take all the precautions there or not, which I am sure he will, but cannot help but worry!! Both are going on these week-long trips for many years now, but I still get a bit agitated
I am ok with my daughter's trip as she is just visiting cities, and it won't be very cold there. Only good thing is that both kids are going to the same country but totally different destinations.
Once you become a mother, I feel that worry is your constant companion!
ok enough of my worries and stories, to the cards now. Both are one layer.
The first one is inspired by a picture I saw on the Facebook, a few months back. I was holding on to the idea for the right time. It is a funny card, at least for me. It makes me laugh hard. Here is the picture - courtesy Facebook.
I drew the stick mom, and the wine glass, and the messy hair, used a red fine tip marker for the lips. Added 2 pearls for the earrings. For the bow, I used Stamping up stamp.
The first part of the sentiment id from handmade stickers by Essentaile, and the "mom" part is from Hero Arts -sketched letters.
I was smiling throughout, while making this card. I think it brings out a laughter for sure.I love this card, even though I don't drink ;)

I am joining with a hand drawn funny mom with a wine glass, hoping that it will make at least a few of you laugh.
The House of Cards
A hand drawn silhouette , I am hoping that it fits the theme.

The second card is made using Paper Smooches sweet heart stamps. I simple inked these in wild wasabi from SU and stamped the shamrock leaves around the card. I added the tiny stalk. Used crushed olives di for the splatter. The sentiment id from Uniko Studios. A few jewels to finish off.

ReplyDeleteWhat a treat to come by here today. Great shamrocks, but your post and your first creation have me smiling big time. DD just had a ski trip with school. Came home with a slight concussion. She's OK now, but yep, worry is a mother's constant companion. And sometimes for a good reason. But we still have to take it as it comes ;)
